Alisha "Squish" Raby graduated from North Shore Community College with High Honors, a 3.98 GPA, and several awards for her dedication to volunteer and club activities. She earned an AS in Environmental Horticulture with a minor in Small Business Administration & Political Science. The broad yet specific educational experiences at NSCC helped shape Raby into a well-rounded, passionate, and driven individual. She later attended Goddard College, where she obtained a BA in Sustainability with a minor in Critical Race Theory & Pop Culture. At Goddard, Raby focused on sociological concepts that helped her navigate personal, interpersonal, group, and political dynamics. For her senior study project, she taught herself Adobe Premiere Pro and created an experimental 20-minute documentary about her childhood, accompanied by an 80-page contextual academic essay. As the Help Desk & Rentals Coordinator at Goddard College, Raby successfully brought in money through events and overnight rentals, and transformed the bookstore into a well-stocked amenity center. She became the Staff Constituent on the Board of Trustees following the Staff Strike in 2023.
